Pretty In Pink is an annual breast cancer awareness event that takes place in downtown Blacksburg. Together with the VBCF we strive to educate the public and raise funds. We do all of this while bringing the community together and having a great time. All proceeds from this event go directly to the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation.

will provide 200+ cupcakes that have genuine gemstones hidden under the icing! One lucky person will even get a diamond! They go on sale at 10am at Kent Jewelers and Next Door Bake Shop the day of the event. Quantaties are limited and we SOLD OUT last year at 3pm!

- In Balance Yoga hosting FREE yoga session for all levels on 2nd floor balcony of Kent Square -Bring your own yoga mat!
10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- All down town shops and restaurants who are marked with a pink ribbon on their door will be donating a percentage of their daily sales to The Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation
You can shop and donate at the same time!
- Pink Cupcakes will be on sale at Kent Square and Next Door Bake Shop. All cupcakes have a genuine gemstone and one lucky person will get a DIAMOND!

This year we are holding our 2nd annual Bra-Dazzle competition, open to VT students as well as community members! Bra-Dazzle is a competition that challenges participants to use only a 34C Bra, their imagination and the theme of "Fighting Breast Cancer" to come up with extraordinary designs. In turn, the public can vote for their favorites at one of the following locations before October 17th: Kent Jewelers, P.Buckley Moss Art Gallery, Fringe Benefit, New River Fiber or Downtown Blacksburg Inc. The voting will conclude on the evening of the main event at 7:30 where the winner will be announced by DJ Earl Brown. If you are interested in finding out more about the contest please visit our .

Silent auction

The annual silent auction takes place during Happy Hour at Kent Square. Bidding will be open from 5:00pm - 7:15pm. All bid sheets will be collected and winners will be announced by DJ Earl Brown at 7:30pm. All auction items must be paid for and picked up inside Kent Jewelers immediately following the event.
